Its name is BLOKUS®

It is a game of strategy played by between 2 and 4 players, and the rules take less than 1 minute to explain! The game is based on an intelligent and fascinating principle, and it has captivated communities of enthisastic players throughout the world. Through the magic of word of mouth, it is spreading among the general public and is slowly making its mark as one of the board games of reference.
Throughout the world, more than three million households already own a game from the Blokus® product line. This has been a resounding success for the inventor of the game, and for the publishing house, Sekkoïa, who had faith in him.

And this is only the beginning…
How Blokus® was born

Blokus® was born out of the imagination of a mathematician who is very keen on games. Starting from the “Four colour theorem” (a premise known to cartographers since the XV century) and by associating this with the idea of using polyminos as pieces, he reached the principle of Blokus®. It was a great find! Thanks to the simplicity of its rules, Blokus® is a delight for both young and old. And its depth captivates even the most eminent scientists! Blokus® has already been compared to great classics such as the game of Go, which has a history of more than 2,000 years.
