Sekkoïa undertakes to protect the data you provide while using this site. We do not collect and do not retain any personal information unless you wish it. Similarly, no information relating to children under 13 years of age can be retained without the consent of their parents.
Please read the following information in order to familiarise yourself with our policy concerning data protection. This site, along with the servers which make it available, are all located in France. By using this site, you give your approval for the transfer, collection, processing and use of data by this site. The Blokus site offers different functions and it can collect different types of personal information for different purposes and activities.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR PARENTS: Parents must monitor their children's use of the web. Help us to protect your children's privacy by asking them not to provide personal information on this site without your prior permission.

If you are under 18, please read this document to your parents. Children under 13 years of age must obtain their parents' approval before giving their email address or any other personal information to Sekkoïa or to any other person on the internet.

Sekkoïa does not oblige anyone to divulge personal information in order to use our website. This means you can use our website without any prior registration. However, our site may contain special sections offering special privileges for our members. We do not collect private information from you or your children unless you wish it, for example by registering to play online, for tournaments, downloads, free demonstrations, to participate in our forums, to reply to our polls concerning your satisfaction or to buy our products. We are careful to keep the information we require to a strict minimum in order to give you the service you desire. People under 18 years of age can only buy the products on our sites with their parents' permission.

We do not collect any personal information on children under 13 years of age without their parents' permission, except in special limited cases. If your child is under 13 years of age and wishes to participate in our online games, forums or other sections which require us to obtain personal information, a parent must post or fax their signed consent to the site administrator before a user under 13 years of age can complete his/her registration. With valid authorisation, we can collect information relating to your child, such as his/her name, address and email, where that is necessary for participating in the activity. We will inform you how to consult this information and how to ask us to remove it.
In order to protect his/her data online, your child must use a 'log-on name' which is not his/her real name.
If you no longer want your child to participate in the activities that require the collection of personal information, contact us at: contact@sekkoia.com. After identification, parents will be able to read the information which has been collected, request this information be deleted or refuse permission for any further information to be collected. You can also write to us at Sekkoïa 114 bis, rue Michel Ange, 75016 Paris, France. However, if you wish to have the information relating to your child deleted, we would ask that you inform him/her that s/he can no longer take part in our activities.

We use the information that is collected to fulfil the objectives mentioned at the time when you or your child (with your permission) communicate the information. For example, if you are registering for a tournament, we will use this information to notify the winners or, if you are buying a product, to process the order. Occasionally, and only with your permission, we may post or email information to you regarding new Sekkoïa products, new features of our site or special offers. If you no longer wish to receive information from Sekkoïa, simply send us an email to contact@sekkoia.com. Our letters and emails also contain sections allowing you to cancel your registration.

Sekkoïa will never share, sell, hire or give your personal data to external parties without your consent. Only if you give your consent, will Sekkoïa send your information to companies offering products or services that may interest you. With the exception of what is described in this policy, we will never share data concerning a child under 13 years of age with a third party. Send us an email at contact@sekkoia.com if you wish to be removed from the lists which we may communicate to external companies. In special circumstances, Sekkoïa could communicate its database to other companies, but only if this is necessary to maintain our computing system, to assist us in processing your orders or to offer services similar to Sekkoïa. If this were the case, we would ask these companies to sign a confidentiality clause promising that they would keep the data communicated to them a secret. If Sekkoïa believes that the behaviour of a person on our site can be harmful to another person, we may also release the data relating to the person responsible in order to stop him/her. In this case, we would seek to identify the guilty parties, to contact them or bring legal action against them. We would then be obliged to divulge the personal information at our disposal if that were required by law, or in response to a legal request.
